Chapter Two: Departure
Howdy all! Time for another chapter in the book! Not sure on titles yet, so forgive me. That will come with time. :) Per usual, this is all pretty raw and pre-editing.
Anyway, things get a little hairy today for Norn and his mission. Enjoy!
CHAPTER TWO: Departure
Norn made his way past security without a hitch. No one asked to see his pack. Normally there was at least one station agent asking his name and destination, but not this time. Just smooth sailing from the passenger clearance gate to the port junction.
His ship was docked to the far left of the rest, looking small and shabby amongst the various craft. Even the ice haulers looked newer and cleaner than Helga. He named her that after his childhood trainer on Iakus 5. She was brutish, mean, and a little shabby herself. He loved his ship, but not his old teacher. Nevertheless, it fit somehow.
